We work on a variety of charity projects at Wildflower throughout the year. We will provide you with pattern suggestions (see links below for some of our recent ones).
Our newest project: Click for Baby
We had our first meeting August 21st and are off to a great start. It was a unanimous decision to set aside some time every Saturday from 3 to 5pm now through October to work on our purple baby hats. For more pattern ideas, click on the link above.
Update on click for babies: We were able to collect 124 caps!!!
In addition, we work with the Manhattan Library Association in knitting and crocheting items for their Mitten Tree every year at holiday time. They accept hats, scarves, gloves and of course, mittens.
Finished items can be dropped off at Wildflower for all charities. Below are a list of sites with patterns or individual patterns that have worked well for us.
